Three former Detroit Pistons featured in Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame

This year’s list of nominees for the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame is very impressive.

Kobe Bryant, Tim Duncan, and Kevin Garnett are the names that headline the group. However, three players from the “Goin’ to Work” era of the Detroit Pistons.

Chauncey Billups, Richard Hamilton, and Ben Wallace are all featured on the list.

If you remember correctly, these guys were part of the 2004 team that won the NBA title in an upset over the Los Angeles Lakers that featured Shaq and Kobe.

The finalists will be announced during All-Star Weekend in Chicago in February, with the inductees being unveiled during the Final Four in Atlanta in April.
