The day after this year’s NHL Entry Draft concluded, the Detroit Red Wings made another roster move in re-signing Defenseman Marc Staal for another season. The 14-year veteran skated in all 56 games last season for the Red Wings ranking among team leaders with 20 penalty minutes (T7th), 58 hits (7th), 45 blocked shots (7th), and 18:25 average time on ice (5th). The deal also includes a full no-movement clause.
