Miguel Cabrera has been a busy man of late when it comes to media appearances. The newest member of the 500 Home Run Club took to the airwaves of ESPN yesterday and talked about his recent home run milestone and upcoming hits milestone. Also, Miggy was asked about his future in baseball and was pretty straightforward about it:
Miguel Cabrera on ESPN this morning: “I’m going to play two more years. I think that’s enough. I will be happy with 20 years in the big leagues if I can make it. I would say thank God for the opportunity and say two more years and I’m done.”

Cabrera is on the books to make $32 million in both 2022 and 2023, the last being his age-40 season. Do you believe him when he says he’s going to retire in two years? Does he make it that long?
