If you haven’t heard by now, USC is currently in the market for a new head coach after firing Clay Helton on September 13th. According to reports, boosters from Southern Cal have reached out to Detroit Lions Offensive Coordinator Anthony Lynn to gauge his interest in the job.
Apparently, Lynn is reportedly interested:
Here’s what we know based on Lynn’s background and prior credentials….he’s a Texas Tech graduate, played in the NFL from 1992-99, and has been an NFL coach with numerous teams from 2000-present. He has never coached in college nor has any ties to USC.
We’ll see if this kicking the tires phase pans out down the road….
