The Detroit Red Wings recently spoke out following the shocking news surrounding the Chicago Blackhawks when Kyle Beach was sexually assaulted by a video coach during the 2010 playoffs that revealed numerous members of the organization’s front office at the time were informed of the assault but chose to focus on the playoffs.
As a result of the news, Blackhawks General Manager Stan Bowman, the son of former Red Wings Head Coach Scotty Bowman, resigned on Tuesday, and Joel Quenneville, formerly the head coach in Chicago at the time, resigned as the head coach of the Florida Panthers on Thursday.
