We’ve all received the strolls down memory lane when it comes to the 2012, 2013, and 2014 Detroit Tigers and how good those teams were, but neither were never able to get over the hump and claim a World Series Championship.

Now, we can add another notch on the 2014 Tigers belt after Robbie Ray picked up the AL Cy Young Award as a member of the Toronto Blue Jays:

Ray joins former Tigers in Justin Verlander (2011, 2019), Max Scherzer (2013, 2016, 2017), David Price (2012), and Rick Porcello (2016) from the 2014 team to win at least one Cy Young Award throughout their respective careers.

Ah, the continued memories of what could have been for those Tigers teams.
