The Detroit Pistons are an incredibly young basketball team, and it has definitely shown this season as it’s looking like another year where they’ll contend for the #1 overall pick in the NBA Draft next summer.
The #1 overall pick in 2021, Cade Cunningham, has started to figure some things out of late following a sluggish start that included missing the first few games of the regular season with an ankle injury.
Many Pistons fans believe that Cunningham is “The Guy” to build around and turn this franchise back into a hopeful championship contender, but don’t tell former Pistons great Dave Bing that.
