It just keeps getting worse for the 2021 Detroit Lions.

We can now add another key player to the season-ending injured reserve list as T.J. Hockenson, one of the lone bright spots on this year’s team, has been put on IR following thumb surgery.

The 24-year-old totaled 61 catches for 583 yards and four touchdowns in 12 games this season and currently still leads the team in catches and receiving yards.

We think it’s safe assume that this season, like many other seasons prior for the Lions organization, can go straight in the trash.
