Sean McVay Believes Matthew Stafford Should Already Have At Least One Playoff Victory

Former Lion and current Los Angeles Rams Quarterback Matthew Stafford is under an immense amount of pressure going into this season’s NFL Playoffs, his fourth go-around after going 0-3 during his tenure in Detroit with losses in 2012 (at New Orleans – 45-28), 2015 (at Dallas – 24-20), and 2017 (at Seattle – 26-6).

In his first season, Stafford helped the Rams to a 12-5 record that included an NFC West crown and a home Wild Card Playoff game against the Arizona Cardinals.

The Rams have gone all-in on this season due to the Super Bowl being held in their home facility in a few weeks, and Stafford has become the focal point to not only getting the Rams over the top following their Super Bowl LIII loss to New England in 2019, 13-3, but getting the monkey off his back and landing his first playoff win as an NFL quarterback.

The 2015 playoff loss to the Cowboys is one that Lions fans will NEVER forget in a bad way, but Rams Head Coach Sean McVay believes that Stafford should at least have one playoff victory under his belt…..

Do you agree with Sean McVay? Does Matthew Stafford FINALLY get a playoff win tonight at home against the Cardinals?
