Detroit Pistons Rookie Cade Cunningham put on a show during NBA All-Star Weekend in Cleveland that began with earning the Rising Stars MVP trophy as his team, Team Barry, won its first game against Team Payton, 50-48, then followed it up with a 25-20 victory over Team Isiah in the final.
In the first game against Team Payton, Cunningham totaled 13 points, 5 rebounds, 6 assists, 2 blocks, and 1 steal then posted 5 points, 2 rebounds, 3 assists, and 1 steal in the final against Team Isiah.
The next night, Cunningham participated in the Skills Challenge with Team Rooks alongside fellow rookies Josh Giddey (Oklahoma City) and Scottie Barnes (Toronto) and eventually fell in the final to Team Cavs, but not without a little bit of controversy.
