On Sunday, Steve Yzerman and the Detroit Red Wings made their first move prior to this season’s NHL Trade Deadline in trading Defenseman Troy Stecher to the Los Angeles Kings in exchange for a late-round 2022 draft pick.
The soon-to-be 28-year-old, appeared in 60 games the last two seasons with the Red Wings totaling four goals and nine assists. The British Columbia native played four seasons with the Vancouver Canucks prior to coming to Detroit.
