Steve Yzerman and the Detroit Red Wings were able to swing one last deal before the expiration of this season’s NHL Trade Deadline as Forward Vladislav Namestnikov was dealt to the Dallas Stars in exchange for a 2024 fourth-round draft pick.
In 113 games played in Detroit, the 29-year-old totaled 21 goals and 21 assists. The native of Russia has also had stints with Tampa Bay (2013-18), New York Rangers (2018-19), Ottawa (2019-20), and Colorado (21 games in 2020).
