The Detroit Lions have definitely done their due diligence when it comes to looking at all possible options for the #2 overall pick in the upcoming 2022 NFL Draft.
From Michigan’s Aidan Hutchinson to Notre Dame’s Kyle Hamilton to now….Pittsburgh’s Kenny Pickett? That’s right, the Lions will host at least one quarterback for a pre-draft visit with the draft less than two weeks away.
The Lions do own three of the top 34 picks in this year’s draft, and even if they don’t go quarterback at #2 overall, they could definitely make a move up the draft to get one by using picks #32 and #34 overall as trade capital.
An interesting side note in regards to the draft is Kenny Pickett was NOT invited to attend the draft in person.
Lions fans, assuming they don’t trade any of their first three picks, should they take a quarterback with one of those picks?
