The NBA’s Rookie of the Year voting took place over the weekend, and the result was one that a lot of Detroit Pistons fans saw coming.

Cade Cunningham, who lead all NBA rookies in both points and assists per game, finished third in the voting behind Cleveland’s Evan Mobley (second) and Toronto’s Scottie Barnes (first).

Former Michigan Wolverine Franz Wagner, who led all rookies in total points, barely received any consideration for the award.
