The Detroit Red Wings have signed another one of their 2019 NHL Draft picks to an entry-level contract as Swedish big man Elmer Soderblom has agreed to a three-year entry-level contract beginning in 2022-23.
The 6’8″ forward was selected by Detroit in the 6th round (159th overall) of the 2019 NHL Draft and spent all of last season with Frolunda in the Swedish Elite League totaling 39 points (24 goals and 15 assists) in 61 games played between the regular season and playoffs.
