The native of Finland has spent the last three seasons in the Kontinental Hockey League but has experience playing in the United States skating for the Sioux Falls Stampede (USHL – 2010-11), University of Denver (NCAA – 2011-13), St. John’s IceCaps (AHL – 2013-15), Ontario Reign (ECHL – 2013-15), Manitoba Moose (AHL – 2015-16), and Tulsa Oilers (ECHL – 2015-16).
The 31-year-old has not appeared in a National Hockey League game in his career.
