For the first time since the 1964-65 season, the Detroit Red Wings can say that they had the best rookie in the National Hockey League.
Defenseman Mo Seider won this year’s Calder Trophy, signaling the league’s best rookie, by a wide margin. Another Red Wings rookie in Forward Lucas Raymond finished fourth in the Rookie of the Year voting.
