Troy Weaver continues the roster shuffling almost a week after the 2022 NBA Draft after swinging a trade with the New York Knicks to acquire Nerlens Noel and Alec Burks along with a 2023 second-round pick, a 2024 second-round pick, and $6 million.
What did the Knicks get in return? Absolutely nothing since this was a salary-cap move to create $19 million in cap space to go after the premium free agents once the free agency period begins on Thursday.
