Troy Weaver and the Detroit Pistons are not going for the big prizes during this year’s free agency period, but they did not stand pat entirely.
With the beginning stages of free agency now underway, the Pistons made a pair of small moves in re-signing Marvin Bagley III to a three-year deal and signing Kevin Knox to a two-year contract.
After being picked up from the Sacramento Kings this past season, Bagley appeared in 18 games for the Pistons totaling 14.6 points, 6.8 rebounds, and 1.1 assists per game.
Knox, the former Kentucky Wildcat and 9th overall pick in the 2018 NBA Draft, has played in 212 games combined between New York and Atlanta over five seasons putting up 7.7 points and 2.9 rebounds per game.
Bagley’s deal is fully-guaranteed with no options on either side.
