Miguel Cabrera & Gregory Soto Named 2022 American League All-Stars

The Detroit Tigers will have two representatives this year in the upcoming All-Star Game out in Los Angeles.

The 39-year-old Cabrera has played in 73 games this season hitting .295 with 3 HR and 31 RBI, while the 27-year-old Soto has appeared in 32 games (30 1/3 innings pitched) posting a 2.67 ERA to go with 17 saves, 31 strikeouts, and allowing only nine earned runs.

The last time the Tigers had more than one All-Star representative in a season was in 2017 when Michael Fulmer and Justin Upton made the American League team.
