MLB All-Star Game: Gregory Soto Faces Two Hitters, Miguel Cabrera Has One At-Bat

It was a pretty uneventful 2022 MLB All-Star Game for the two Detroit Tigers representatives as Miguel Cabrera had one plate appearance that resulted in a groundout to lead off the top of the fifth inning, while Gregory Soto faced two batters during the bottom of the seventh inning walking the first and retiring the second on a groundball fielder’s choice to end the inning.

Also, most out there believe Miggy’s lone (and probably final All-Star Game) at-bat was completely overshadowed by David Ortiz’s antics on the FOX broadcast:

In the end, it was the American League beating the National League, 3-2, to capture their ninth consecutive win in the All-Star Game.
