The Detroit Lions have added some depth on the interior defensive line in signing former Pittsburgh Steeler Isaiah Buggs.
The soon-to-be 26-year-old played his college ball at Alabama and was drafted by the Steelers in the sixth-round (192nd overall) of the 2019 NFL Draft.
In three seasons with the Steelers, the Louisiana native appeared in 29 games (seven starts) totaling 31 tackles, two tackles for loss, and one pass deflection.
Buggs was released by the Steelers in January and served the rest of the 2021 season on the Las Vegas Raiders practice squad during their postseason run.
