The Detroit Lions have officially sold out Sunday’s home and season opener against the Philadelphia Eagles.
Why is that a big deal, you say?
Well, let’s just say that it’s been some time since the Lions have announced a home sell out:
Last season, the Eagles ambushed the Lions at Ford Field on Halloween by a 44-6 final, and after that loss and their Bye Week, the Lions went on to finish the season 3-5-1 after dropping the first eight games of the season.
