The Detroit Tigers have officially been eliminated from this year’s postseason contention

For the eighth straight season, the Detroit Tigers will not be making the postseason as they currently sit at the bottom of the American League Central with a few weeks left in the 2022 regular season.

It gets even worse for the Tigers organization if this current scenario holds up:

When was the Tigers’ last playoff victory, you say? Well, we have to go back to Game 4 of the 2013 American League Championship Series against the Boston Red Sox on October 16th, where the Tigers came away victorious by a 7-3 final.

As they always say….there’s always next year, right?
