The Detroit Lions were able to rebound from last week’s season-opening loss at home to the Philadelphia Eagles, 38-35, and collect a 36-27 victory over the Washington Commanders at Ford Field to improve to 1-1 on the young season.
Leading the way offensive for the Lions in the win was second-year wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown, who totaled 9 catches for 116 yards and two touchdowns along with adding two rushes for 68 yards.
The Lions will now get set for its first road contest of the 2022 season as they’ll head to Minneapolis on Sunday to battle a divisional foe in the Minnesota Vikings at 1 pm.
