Michigan State suspends eight players following Saturday night’s postgame tunnel incident in Ann Arbor

It was an ugly scene following Michigan’s 29-7 home victory over Michigan State on Saturday night as multiple Spartan players were involved in a postgame tunnel altercation with two Michigan players, Ja’Den McBurrows and Gemon Green.

As a result, Gemon Green has hired an attorney, and the Spartans have suspended eight players for their involvement in the postgame scuffle:

Both teams look to try and move on with their respective seasons as a shorthanded MSU group travels to #16 Illinois for a 3:30 pm kickoff in Champaign, while #5 Michigan heads east to Piscataway to take on Rutgers at 7:30 pm.
