The #1-ranked Grand Valley State Football team continues to plow through the opposition following another convincing victory on Saturday afternoon in which the Lakers cruised to a 42-14 Senior Day win over the Wayne State Warriors to reclaim the Wooden Shoes Trophy.
The Lakers are now 10-0 overall on the season and 5-0 in GLIAC play as they have also clinched at least a share of the regular season conference crown with one game left to play.
GVSU wraps up the regular season this Saturday afternoon with a crosstown showdown against the 8-1 Panthers of Davenport.
