Michigan’s Cade McNamara enters the transfer portal as a graduate transfer

Michigan quarterback Cade McNamara has officially put his name in the transfer portal as a graduate transfer.

During his time behind center in Ann Arbor, McNamara, the Nevada native, appeared in 21 games tossing nearly 3,200 yards to go with 21 touchdowns and 7 interceptions. McNamara was also a key component in getting the Wolverines to the College Football Playoff and capturing the Big Ten Championship for first time since 2004.

McNamara lost the starting quarterback job earlier this season to J.J. McCarthy and is coming off a recent procedure done on his knee.
