Future Hall of Famer and current Detroit Tigers legend Miguel Cabrera recently announced that the upcoming 2023 season will be his last.
Cabrera will turn 40 years old in mid-April and will be entering his 16th and final season with the Tigers organization.
During his 20-year career, the native of Venezuela has compiled a .308 batting average to go along with 507 home runs, 1,874 runs batted in, 12 All-Star appearances, 2 MVPs, 1 Triple Crown (2012), and 1 World Series ring (2003 with Florida).
Cabrera spent five seasons with the Florida Marlins organization before being traded to the Tigers back in early December of 2007.
