Former Detroit Tigers pitcher Matthew Boyd is coming back to the Motor City on a one-year, $10 million deal.
The soon-to-be 32-year-old has spent nearly seven of his eight Major League years with the Tigers from 2015-21 compiling a 37-60 record to go with a 4.87 ERA in almost 778 innings pitched.
This past season, the former Toronto Blue Jays draft pick in 2013 pitched just 13 2/3 innings for the Seattle Mariners combined between the regular season and postseason.
