Michigan freshman point guard Dug McDaniel has been named by the Big Ten Conference as the Freshman of the Week following his individual performance during last Thursday night’s 90-75 road win at Minnesota.
McDaniel, the Fairfax, Virginia native, has appeared in all nine games for the Wolverines this season to date totaling 5.3 points, 2.1 rebounds, and 2.7 assists per contest.
