University of Michigan star running back Blake Corum has entered the unanimous All-American conversation after being named a First-Team All-American by the American Football Coaches Association, Football Writers Association of America, the Walter Camp Football Foundation, the Sporting News, and the Associated Press becoming the first Wolverines running back to earn the status since….wait for it….1947.
The last Michigan player to claim the unanimous All-American honor was Aidan Hutchinson last season, and Corum becomes the 25th Wolverine in program history to reach the top All-American level.
In 12 games this season, Corum ran for 1,463 yards to go with 18 rushing touchdowns while also totaling 80 receiving yards and pulling in a touchdown grab.
