Lions Kalif Raymond named NFC Special Teams Player of the Week

Detroit Lions wide receiver Kalif Raymond has been tabbed by the National Football League as the NFC Special Teams Player of the Week following his 47-yard punt return for a touchdown during last Sunday’s 20-17 road victory over the New York Jets.

The 28-year-old Raymond is currently in his second season with the Lions and has totaled 454 yards on 39 receptions to go with 24 rushing yards on 5 carries. The punt return touchdown on Sunday against the Jets was the Georgia native’s first of the season.
