Flexed into primetime: Lions conclude regular season in Green Bay on Sunday Night Football

The 8-8 Detroit Lions still have a chance to make this postseason, but they need some help in getting that opportunity.

First, they’ll need the 5-11 Los Angeles Rams to knock off the 8-8 Seattle Seahawks on the road at 4:25 pm.

If that happens, then it forces a win or go home Sunday night battle up at Lambeau Field between the Lions and 8-8 Green Bay Packers.

The Lions have not had a national primetime game since Week #2 of last season when they lost on Monday Night Football in Green Bay to the Packers by a 35-17 decision.

The last time the Lions were featured on Sunday Night Football was back on September 23rd, 2018 when a Matt Patricia-led group ran away with a 26-10 win at Ford Field against the New England Patriots.
