The Detroit Red Wings have signed forward Alexandre Doucet to a three-year entry-level contract that goes into effect next season.
Doucet, the 21-year-old native of Quebec, has spent the last four seasons in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League (QMJHL) between the Val-d’Or Foreurs and Halifax Mooseheads totaling 221 points (95 goals and 126 assists) in 228 games.
Doucet was a free agent entry-level signing by the Red Wings.
