The Detroit Tigers have made another move prior to the start of the 2023 season in acquiring outfielder Grant Witherspoon from the Tampa Bay Rays in exchange for cash considerations.

The 26-year-old native of Littleton, Colorado was drafted by the Rays in the fourth-round of the 2018 MLB Draft out of Tulane University.
