The Detroit Red Wings are officially out of the postseason conversation for the seventh straight season and have not made the second season since the 2015-16 campaign when they were eliminated in five games during the first-round by the Tampa Bay Lightning.

With a few games remaining in the 2022-23 regular season, the Red Wings will look to finish with more regulation wins than losses for the first time since the 2015-16 season when they finished with a 41-30-11 overall mark.
