Michigan’s Adam Fantilli wins Hobey Baker Award

Michigan Wolverines forward Adam Fantilli was awarded the Hobey Baker Award as college hockey’s best player for the 2022-23 season.

As a freshman this past season, the 18-year-old Fantilli totaled 65 points (30 goals and 35 assists) to go with a plus-31 rating in 36 games played and became the third Wolverine all-time to win the Hobey Baker joining Brendan Morrison (1997) and Kevin Porter (2008).

The Ontario native is projected by many national experts to be the #2 overall pick in the upcoming 2023 NHL Entry Draft.
