Not even the first official rainout of the 2023 campaign yesterday afternoon could damper the first winning week of the season for the Detroit Tigers.

After a off-day last Monday, the Tigers dropped the first two games in Toronto against the Blue Jays but bounced back in series finale on Thursday to avoid another sweep.

Then, an actual winning streak started due to a pair of extra inning walk-off victories at home against the San Francisco Giants.

Sunday’s series finale against the Giants was washed out until Monday, July 24th.

The month of April rolls along for the 5-9 Tigers with their first American League Central series to kick off this week followed by a weekend road trip out east:
