Just when we thought the Detroit Tigers were about turn things around on the early season, they have suddenly come spiraling back down to where everyone thought they would be at in the standings.
This past week began on a good note in sweeping a doubleheader at home on Tuesday against the Cleveland Guardians to push the winning streak up to five games, but now, the Tigers have found themselves back on the wrong side of the ledger in a current four-game slide that includes being swept by the Baltimore Orioles over the weekend on the road.
The lone bright spot from the past week was Eduardo Rodriguez, who has been phenomenal his past couple of starts:
