The Detroit Red Wings are heading overseas to Stockholm Sweden in mid-November to play a pair of games against the Ottawa Senators and Toronto Maple Leafs on Thursday, November 16th and Friday, November 17th, respectively, as part of the 2023 NHL Global Series.
The event will mark the second time the Red Wings have played regular season games in Europe. Detroit also opened its 2009-10 regular season in Stockholm with two games against the St. Louis Blues.
