After being on leave from the Detroit Pistons organization since October following a misconduct claim from a former female employee, assistant general manager Rob Murphy is no longer employed by the Pistons.

The 50-year-old Murphy was promoted to assistant general manager last offseason after spending the previous season as the president of the Pistons’ G League affiliate, the Motor City Cruise.
