The Detroit Lions have brought back a familiar face in kicker Riley Patterson in a trade with the Jacksonville Jaguars in exchange for a future draft pick.

During the 2021 season, Patterson appeared in seven games for the Lions making 13 of 14 field goal attempts and going a perfect 16 of 16 on extra point tries.

Last season in Jacksonville, the former Memphis Tiger kicked in all 19 games with Jaguars going 33 of 38 on field goals and 40 of 41 on extra points.
