The Michigan Sports Hall of Fame Class of 2023 was recently announced, and headlining this year’s class is former Detroit Red Wing Henrik Zetterberg (2002-18) and former Detroit Piston Richard “Rip” Hamilton (2002-11).

Zetterberg was part of the Red Wings 2008 Stanley Cup Championship team and served as captain from 2012-18, while Hamilton captured a title with the Pistons in 2004 and was a three-time All-Star selection from 2005-08.
