Former Red Wings netminder Mike Vernon inducted into Hockey Hall of Fame

Former Detroit Red Wings goaltender Mike Vernon can now call himself a Hockey Hall of Fame inductee for the Class of 2023.

The Calgary native spent three seasons with the Red Wings from 1994-97 winning one Stanley Cup during the 1996-97 season that also included capturing the Conn Smythe Trophy for being the 1997 Playoff MVP.
