For all the talent that the Michigan Basketball team had this past season, it’s an even bigger shame that they did not make the 2023 NCAA Tournament following the results of the 2023 NBA Draft.
The Wolverines ended up with two first-rounders this year in Jett Howard (11th overall to Orlando) and Kobe Bufkin (15th overall to Atlanta), and accomplished something the program hadn’t experienced in almost three decades.
In 29 games during his freshman and only season in Ann Arbor, Howard averaged just over 14 points per game, while Bufkin, the Grand Rapids native, put up exactly 14 points per contest in 33 games played during his sophomore season.
Also, the Orlando Magic sure love to draft players from the University of Michigan:
Again, how did the 2022-23 Michigan Wolverines NOT make the NCAA Tournament?
