This past week turned out to be an average week for the Tigers after splitting their six-game home week against a pair of American League Central teams that consisted of taking two of three from the Kansas City Royals followed by dropping two of three against the division-leading Minnesota Twins.
Overall, Detroit sits at 33-43 overall, good for third in the A.L. Central, and 5.5 games back of Minnesota for the top spot.
