The Detroit Pistons are picking up former Michigan Wolverine Isaiah Livers’ club option for the upcoming 2023-24 season at just over $1.8 million.
During his first two seasons as a Piston, the soon-to-be 25-year-old native of Kalamazoo has appeared in 71 games (27 starts) totaling 6.6 points and 2.8 rebounds per contest.
Livers was a second-round selection by the Pistons at #42 overall during the 2021 NBA Draft and will become a restricted free agent following the 2023-24 season.
In addition, the Pistons are bringing back Alec Burks at roughly $10.5 million and Eugene Omoruyi at just over $1.9 million after exercising their club options for the upcoming 2023-24 season.
During the 2022-23 season, Burks, the soon-to-be 32-year-old appeared in 51 games (8 starts) in his first season with Detroit totaling 12.8 points, 3.1 rebounds, and 2.2 assists per contest.
This past season, the 26-year old Omoruyi split time between the Pistons and Oklahoma City Thunder appearing in 17 games for Detroit putting up 9.7 points, 3.5 rebounds, and 1.0 assists per game.
