“Beef Stew” gets his big payday.
Detroit Pistons center Isaiah Stewart has agreed to a four-year rookie extension that will keep the 22-year-old in “The Motor City” for the foreseeable future.
Stewart was taken by the Pistons with the 16th overall pick in the 2020 NBA Draft and has appeared in 132 games through the first three seasons averaging 9.0 points, 7.8 rebounds, and 1.1 assists per contest.
Last season, the former Washington Husky totaled 11.3 points, 8.1 rebounds, and 1.4 assists in 50 games played.
