Lions land wide receiver help in trading for Denzel Mims from the Jets

The Detroit Lions have struck a trade with the New York Jets in acquiring wide receiver Denzel Mims as the two teams also swap 2025 NFL Draft picks.

The soon-to-be 26-year-old Mims was selected by the Jets in the second-round (59th overall) of the 2020 NFL Draft out of Baylor, and in his first three seasons in the NFL, Mims has appeared in 30 games totaling 42 catches for 676 yards.

Mims is currently in the final year of his four-year rookie contract at nearly $1.351 million.
